Projects

15 things I've built, from a codebase map in Go to a Chrome extension. Each one links to its source, and to a live version where there is one.

Developer tools

Tools for seeing how software is put together.

CodeAtlas

Go · React · SQLite · Tree-sitter

See a codebase as a map, and the blast radius of any change.

Parses a JavaScript, TypeScript, Go or Python repository into a graph of files, functions, imports, calls and routes. Click any node and everything that depends on it, and everything it depends on, lights up on the same map. Runs locally, keeps only structural metadata in embedded SQLite, and ships as a single Go binary with the React UI inside.

InfraLab

TypeScript · Next.js · React Flow · Zustand

A browser-based cloud-networking simulator.

Build an AWS-style VPC, or a Kubernetes storage layer, on a canvas, then send a packet through it and watch a deterministic engine decide, stage by stage, whether it's delivered or blocked and why. Connectivity is computed from real configuration (CIDRs, route tables, security groups, NAT state), not from the arrows. Guided challenges; everything runs in the browser.

FrontEnd Design Extractor

React · TypeScript · Tailwind CSS

Paste a frontend project, get a design-system audit.

Point it at a public GitHub repository or a live website and it scans the source for colours, typography, spacing, UI libraries and repeated component patterns. The report carries an audit score with confidence notes and exports as JSON or a design.md.

HTTP Inventory Lab

Go · net/http · React · TypeScript · OpenAPI

Learn HTTP by using it.

A small inventory app whose real purpose is the inspector beside it: every request and response is recorded live as you use the UI, so the HTTP methods stop being abstractions. The API is Go's standard net/http with in-memory storage, deliberately, so the behaviour stays visible; every operation is documented in OpenAPI and reproducible with curl.

Backend & systems

Servers, protocols and infrastructure. Mostly Go, plus one Node.js streams gateway.

Ephemera

Go · PostgreSQL · Terraform · AWS ECS · Jenkins · React

Turn a pull request into an expiring preview environment.

A self-service control plane: CI publishes an immutable image, then asks Ephemera for an environment. It owns the rest: idempotency per PR and commit, an explicit lifecycle from REQUESTED to DESTROYED, retries, one Terraform workspace per environment, TTL cleanup. Ships with an AWS ECS baseline, a React dashboard, Prometheus metrics, and a demo provisioner that runs the whole loop locally.

Sentinel Gateway

Go · PostgreSQL · Redis · Prometheus · Docker Compose

A protected API gateway plus an event-driven incident workflow.

API keys stored as SHA-256 hashes, Redis token-bucket rate limiting made atomic with a Lua script, monthly quotas, and a reverse proxy in front of an incident API. Incidents and their workflow events are written in one Postgres transaction; workers claim events safely, retry with backoff and dead-letter poison ones, and a scheduler escalates SLA breaches without double-firing.

ByteFlow

Node.js 22 · TypeScript · Worker Threads · Prometheus

A stream-safe gateway for multi-gigabyte uploads and raw TCP ingestion.

Accepts multi-gigabyte raw HTTP uploads and newline-delimited JSON over TCP without holding a payload in memory: everything is a stream pipeline of bounded Transform stages, so memory is set by high-water marks, not file size. Resumable uploads, worker-thread offloading, pluggable sinks (disk, TCP, S3), Prometheus metrics. Native http and net, no framework.

A minimal, heavily documented Redis wire-protocol server.

A reusable Go package for reading and writing RESP2 values, plus a tiny TCP server that speaks PING, ECHO, SET and GET, with tests showing how the parser, encoder and command handler behave. Written to teach the protocol, not to be Redis-compatible: no persistence, expiry, auth or pub/sub.

HTTP Load Balancer

Go · standard library

A Layer 7 load balancer from scratch, standard library only.

Reverse proxying with net/http/httputil, round-robin selection, active health checks that pull unhealthy backends out of rotation and let them rejoin, timeouts, retries, graceful shutdown and a /stats endpoint. Comes with demo backends you can stop to watch failover, and an animated frontend that sends real requests through it.

Products & prototypes

Product ideas built out far enough to try.

Feedback Loop

React · TypeScript · Tailwind CSS

AI-assisted follow-ups after a visit, for clinics and service businesses.

A product prototype for the gap after good service goes quiet: contextual outreach, multilingual check-ins, feedback capture, and escalation of high-priority concerns to a human team. Explicit about its boundaries: no automated diagnosis, and a human-in-the-loop handoff for anything sensitive.

Buddy

Next.js · TypeScript · Tailwind CSS

A calm AI companion you can talk to in your own language.

For emotionally heavy moments that don't need a fix, just room. A product concept and landing page for a conversational companion built on Sarvam AI's APIs, where someone can open up by text or voice in the language that feels like home. The story leads with being heard rather than being advised.

ATLAS

Next.js · Fastify · Prisma · PostgreSQL · Turborepo

A personal map of the world: plan journeys, collect places, keep everywhere you've been.

A full-stack travel app built in strict phases, currently at Phase 1: foundation and core CRUD. PostgreSQL owns all user data; third-party APIs come later as read-only discovery sources. A pnpm + Turborepo monorepo with a Next.js web app, a Fastify + Prisma API, and auth behind a single switch (mock by default, Clerk when configured).

Small utilities

Desktop and browser utilities for notes, bookmarks and captured tasks.

HoverNotes

Go · Wails v2 · React

An always-on-top, translucent notes board that floats over your other apps.

A frameless desktop board of note cards: create, drag, resize, lock, theme and set per-note opacity, with notes written to disk atomically and backed up if the file is ever corrupt. React never touches the OS window directly; it calls bound Go functions through one WindowService seam. The README is candid about what Wails v2 can't do.

SnapTask

TypeScript · Chrome Manifest V3

Drag over any part of a page and save it as a to-do.

A Chrome extension that captures a visible area of a webpage and turns it into a local task with the screenshot, source URL, page title, notes, priority, tags and status. A tasks page lets you search, filter, update, delete or export them; everything stays in chrome.storage.local.

Bookmark Notes

JavaScript · Chrome extension

A notes page for every bookmark.

Shows your Chrome bookmarks in a searchable popup and gives each one its own notes page: write long-form notes that autosave, paste snippets, or save highlighted text from a webpage straight into that bookmark's notes. Creates a bookmark for the current page when needed. Stored locally.
